Come along and join the community for a couple of hours of learning about how to best control some serious invasive plants that are threatening the remnant forests of Auckland.
We will be controlling invasive vines, creepers and serious pest trees to allow the natives to regenerate back into coastal kauri/puriri forest.
Where: Bus Stop on Duck Creek Road

When: 10am to 12pm Sunday 2nd October
What to bring?
-Suitable footwear & clothing
-Pair of loppers if you have and some gloves.
-Water
Light refreshments will be provided as well as hand tools, herbicide gells and stump treatment for controlling weed species on site.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the grass roots restoration process and what we can all do to protect the last of the remnant stands of indigenous forest that still exist in Aotearoa.
